    Abstract<\/h2>\n

    The state of Colorado\u2019s population is quickly growing, with a 14.8% population increase between 2010 and 2020, nearly twice the rate of the rest of the nation over the same time period (America Counts Staff,\u00a0Citation<\/span>2021<\/a><\/span>). The purpose of this brief report is to provide a comprehensive analysis of the state of families in Colorado, USA, largely based on the latest data from the U.S. Census Bureau. The report will cover several aspects of family life, including the number of families and households, family composition, ethnicity and racial diversity, family income and poverty rates, employment and unemployment rates, education levels, and marriage and divorce rates. Challenges facing Colorado families and state programs available to help Colorado families will also be examined.<\/p>\n
